Polo, The Cowboy Way at The Bar U Ranch, we honour our trailblazer Duncan McEachran… and visit BC’s oldest ranch, Alkali Lake Ranch. In the kitchen we attempt perfection with Carol’s Perfect Peach Pie and we pay homage to the pioneer settlers with Don Brestler’s Cabin.

Artist Arnold Mosley pays tribute to the cowboy way of life, our TrailBlazer is the BX Stagecoach Line and working cowboys show their skill at the Medicine Tree Ranch Rodeo. Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas are the special of the day in the Kitchen, and a dentist who won’t tell you to floss… Equine Dentist Shorty Olson.

We profile one of Canada’s busiest auction markets… VJV in Ponoka, our TrailBlazer is Bud Cotton… and a profile on Cowboy Country TV Host Ash Cooper. In The Cowboy Kitchen we Barbeque some Bison Ribs and introduce you to the Canadian Horse.

Shooting from a horse isn’t that easy… but the Mounted Shootists show us how, Lloyd Dolen is profiled as our Trailblazer and we visit the Bert Sheppard Memorial Library. Loud shirts invade the kitchen as we bake up some Hawaiian Cowboy Beans and check out Bob Spaith’s historic Home of the West.

Multi-talented musician Allen Christie hits the stage… learn about TrailBlazer Tom Lawter and visit the BC Cowboy Hall of Fame and Museum. We conjure up classic cocoa cake in the Cowboy Kitchen and take a ride back in time at a trail ride commemorating the Nez Perce Ride to Freedom.

Some of the best western art in the world is displayed at the Calgary Stampede Art Show… our TrailBlazer is Chuckwagon master Tom Dorchester and we connect Yoga with Horses… really it’s not a stretch. Things are hopping in the kitchen as we prepare Maricopa Poppers and we visit the XH Buffalo Ranch.

Legendary Guide and Outfitter Chuck Hayward is featured so it’s only fitting that our TrailBlazers are those guiding Harrigan Sisters. We put a cowboy slant on Pizza in the kitchen and profile Singer Songwriter George Canyon.
