Meat & Cheese Dip

1 lb lean ground pork or beef
1 small onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced or diced
1 large package Velveeta cheese, cubed
1 - 2 cups stewed tomatoes (depending on how creamy you like your dip)
1 pkg. taco seasoning or your own mixture of (1-2 tbsp. diced jalapenos, 2 tsp. of chili powder, 1 tsp oregano, 1 tsp pepper)

Brown meat and onion. Drain. Add garlic, cubed cheese & seasonings... heat slowly in crockpot or over double-boiler on stove until just melted. If dip is too stiff, add more tomatoes.

Serve warm with tortilla chips, vegetables or crackers.

NOTE: This recipe can easily be halved. It also freezes well for a short timeframe
