As the guy who got this ball rolling, I should take the blame for this blessing/curse we call Cowboy Country. Just like the many real people who we feature on the show, none of the producers will get rich on this lifestyle, it involves a lot of hard work and many long hours but we stick at it because it's what we love.
We have been blessed with a crew that "gets it" too. Mostly "city folk," they have worked tirelessly as well because the people they get to meet doing this show inspire them as well.
Cowboy Country fills a void on television that idolizes the everyday person and makes us remember a day when the shake of a hand and the tip of a hat meant something. I'm proud that people of any age can watch Cowboy Country and walk away taking something from it.
Dean is an avid horseman who has worked in the film and television field as a producer for more than 20 years, and his expertise in post production is an invaluable contribution to the Cowboy Country team.

It was a natural extension of our magazine, Canadian Cowboy Country, and it has brought us the opportunity to bring the stories and images of the people, and their passion for this beautiful land and their lifestyle to a wider audience.
Dean and Ron’s level of professionalism equaled our own, which made it very easy and comfortable to work in partnership with them. They immediately understood the concept and have the artistic and technical skills to bring the true western lifestyle, western heritage and western history that our magazine delivers to television.
When we took over Canadian Cowboy Country magazine in 2001, one of the aspects that surprised me the most was the loyalty of our readers, and we see it again in Cowboy Country TV. I’m very honoured to work with such extremely talented and passionate people at both the magazine and television show. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who were so gracious in allowing us into their homes and sharing their stories.
Rob is the publisher of Canadian Cowboy Country magazine and President of Tanner Young Publishing Group, an Edmonton based publishing company that has specialized in producing visitor related publications both in print and on-line since 1987.

Ron is President of Prairie Dog Film & Television Ltd. Prairie Dog produces feature films, television specials, documentaries, live arena events, music videos and TV commercials. Ron is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School.
